Rule #1: Never let suspects stay together - 용의자를 절대로 같이 두어서는 안된다.

Rule #1: Never screw over your partner. - 절대로 파트너를 물먹여서는 안된다

Rule #2: Always wear gloves at a crime scene. - 범죄현장에서는 항상 장갑을 끼고 작업해라

Rule #3: Don't believe what you're told. Double check. - 자신이 한말을 믿지말고 두번 체크하라

Rule #3: Never be unreachable.- 항상 연락이 되어야 한다

Rule #4: If you have a secret, The best way to keep a secret? Keep it to yourself.

Second best? Tell one other person - if you must. There is no third best.

Rule #18: It's better to seek forgiveness than ask permission. - 허락을 구하는 것보단 용서를 구하는게 낫다

Rule #22: Never, ever bother Gibbs in interrogation.- 절대, 결단코 심문중인 깁스를 방해해서는 안된다

Rule #23: Never mess with a Marine's coffee if you want to live.- 살고 싶으면 깁스의 커피를 쏟으면 안된다(커피매니아 깁스)

Rule #27: Two ways to follow, First way they never notice you, second way they only notice you. 

- 미행할 때는 두 가지 방법이 있다. 첫째는 표적이 절대로 알아채지 못하게 하고, 둘째는 표적이 자신만 알아차리게 하는 것이다.
